Goat Squad Studios ("we", "us") runs analytics on this site only after you opt in, we don't sell your personal information, and we only collect what we need to run the site, reply to you, and deliver our work. You can decline analytics, change your mind, or ask us about your data any time. The details are below.

This policy applies to the Goat Squad Studios marketing site at goatsquadstudios.com and our client portal. We are a software studio based in Bakersfield, California, United States. For privacy questions, contact support@goatsquadstudios.com.

We collect three kinds of information:

• Information you give us. When you submit a contact form or project brief, we receive what you choose to send — for example your name, email, company, budget/timeline, and a description of your project.
• Account information. If you use the client portal, our authentication provider creates an account record (e.g. name, email, and login credentials managed on your behalf).
• Information collected automatically. With your consent, Google Analytics and Google Ads collect usage and campaign measurement data, including page views, approximate location, browser and device information, referring source and interactions. Our measurement events exclude your form text and contact details. If you decline, these measurement tags stay off.

• Essential cookies. A small gss_consent cookie remembers your analytics choice. Portal sign-in relies on a session cookie set by our authentication provider. These are required for the site to function and are not used for tracking.
• Analytics and ad-measurement cookies. Loaded only after you select "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, Google measurement scripts and cookies stay off. Withdrawing consent removes our measurement cookies and campaign session storage, then reloads the page to stop the tags.

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to measure site visits, interactions and successful inquiries from our campaigns. Google processes browser and device information, page visits and measurement cookies. We also retain campaign labels, advertising click IDs, the landing-page path and referring site in your browser tab session, and include that source information with an inquiry you submit. We do not enable Google Signals, personalized advertising, or remarketing.

You can control this collection in several ways:

• Choose Decline in the banner or open Cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent. We also honor Global Privacy Control.
• Install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

• To respond to your inquiries and prepare estimates or proposals.
• To deliver, maintain, and support our services and the client portal.
• To understand site performance and which campaigns bring inquiries (with consent).
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are your consent (analytics), performance of a contract (delivering our services), and our legitimate interests (running and securing the site).

We do not sell your personal information. With your permission, Google receives the measurement data described above. We also use service providers to operate the site and respond to you, including:

• Analytics and campaign measurement (Google Analytics and Google Ads), if you have consented;
• Authentication for the client portal;
• Email delivery, to receive and respond to your messages;
• Cloud hosting and storage for the site and your project records.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, inquiries and project records for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterward, and analytics data per our provider's retention settings. We delete or anonymize data when it's no longer needed, or on a valid request.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Use Cookie settings in the footer to decline or withdraw analytics and ad-measurement consent. Global Privacy Control also keeps this measurement off. The gss_consent cookie remembers your choice. You can also control cookies in your browser.

EEA / UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, to opt out of its sale or sharing, to limit use of sensitive personal information, and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

We operate in the United States, and your information is processed here. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., which may have different data-protection rules than your country.

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be reflected here.
